Macam kelakar bukan? tapi itulah hakikatnya.. baru2 ini majalah Wall Street Journal mendedahkan mengenai kehidupan pengemis2 yang tidak berumah di sekitar California, sungguh mengejutkan dan mengagumkan foto2 dan info yang diberikan.. apakah ini dinamakan pengemis modern, memang tak terlintas difikiran kita sebenarnya..

Pengemis 1 :

Charles Pits sedang duduk di bawah jambatan San Francisco tempat beliau tinggal sambil melayari internet untuk mengetahui info terbaru dan terkini, sambil melayari Facebook, MySpace & Twitter..

"Menurut beliau, tv, radio, surat kabar adalah tidak perlu, tapi talian wireless internet adalah paling penting.. ini adalah kerana, dengan adanya internet saya boleh melayari semuanya dan mengetahui isu semasa.."

Confession. I used to think Iran is just a bunch of terrorists.

But after getting to know a pork-eating evolution-believing middle class Muslim from Iran, I want to know more.

So I tried to follow the current Iran uprise on Twitter.

If the State Dept. has to intervene a scheduled maintenance at Twitter because of what's happening in Iran, then that's where the e-action is.

But boy.

5336 new Iran-related tweets within 5 minutes?!

I think I'll just stick to the Iran Live-Blogging on HuffingtonPost.

JUST in case you didn't know we'd like to inform you that the unwitting and ignorant co-architect of wlldfire disasters in the state of Victoria, the former good time boy and Environment Minister, Twitter Thwaites, has been appointed a Professor at Monash University.Mr Thwaites who was well known for his enjoyment of Victoria's apreś ski resorts at the public expense, resigned from Parliament in 2007. We're not sure what role he will play at Monash but we're told he will occupy the chair of Comparative Nonsense. Most appropriate for a bloke named Twitter.

Gosh, "everyone" is twittering!

Should I jump on the bandwagon and desperately hang onto yet another wave of perceived relevance and virtual popularity??

Do I have any mystery or untapped wittiness left for the hungry world to see?

Should anybody care?

Honestly, I'm *tired* of signing onto yet another networking sites, creating yet another profile, adding yet another 300 random strangers as "friends".

First, we had FriendsReUnited, then came Friendster, MySpace and Facebook. Now "everyone" is Twittering...

How many times can you list your favorite music and movies before you realized that you don't ACTUALLY give a damn?

So sad.

All these, of course, are mirrored by the great migration of my bathroom mirror topless pictures across the cyber space.
