Do not display my name on the blog

• What if I don't want my name to be displayed on the blog?
• I would prefer my blog displays a nickname instead of my real name: what should I do?

Answers

If you haven't filled in the field Display name when subscribing to the service, your first and last name will be displayed on your About me page. This page can be viewed by clicking on the link About me in yor left sidebar.

You must be logged_in in order to remove the About me page from your blog.

1. Click on heading Design and then on Sidebar content.
2. In the section Sidebar settings, select the item About me in the left column.
3. Click on the button X to remove this item from your sidebar.
4. Click on the button Update information to confirm changes.

If you only wish to remove your name/surname from the About me page without removing the whole page:

1. Click on heading Design and then on Advanced settings.
2. Click on the link Edit template for the About page.
3. Find and delete in the template's page the following code:

   {$user.authorname}

   
   
   
4. Click on the link Save information to confirm.

If you wish to change/replace your first/last name in the page About me with a nickname:

1. Click on the heading Account.
2. In the section Your informations of heading Your account, fill in the field Display name with a nickname of your choice.
3. Click on the button Update information to confirm changes.
