About the ASIN

Questions

  • What is the ASIN?
  • What purpose has the ASIN?

Answer

The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is the equivalent to the ISBN (book code) and it exists for every article listed in the Amazon catalog. Each article (books, music, DVD, video, software, video games) has a unique ASIN code. To find the ASIN code corresponding to the film, book or CD you want to add to your list visit the Amazon.com site. There search for the desired product and click on it. Scroll down to the "product details" and look up the ASIN code.

Fill in the code in the designated field if you want to Adding_books%2C_CDs%2C_films_to_a_list to your list.
